Wonderful news! My sonnet, "The Watchers at Punta Ballena, Uruguay" was chosen as a finalist in the 2013 Howard Nemerov Award. The poem will appear in a future issue of Measure (University of Evansville). The final judge was Dick Davis, who chose "Tourist in India" by Gail White as the winning sonnet.
